The new chairman of Kotoko in his first address to the club has told them to exercise patience as he direct affairs.

Asante Kotoko Executive Board Chairman Dr. Kwame Kyei has called on the supporters of the Kumasi giants to exercise patience as he puts things in place at the club.

The Business mogul was handed the leadreship role at the club last month by the life Patron of the club Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, after Paul Adu Gyamfi’s led management team's tenure ended.

Dr. Kyei for the first time since his appointment addressed the teeming fans of the club at the Adako Jachie training ground (Kotoko’s training ground).

"I will crave on your indulgence to have patience and continue to offer your support as we have resolved to do our best and also put in place everything that needs to be in place,” Dr. Kyei appealed to  the fans.

"You know that I came in not too long ago" he continued. "I am only starting to put together my team. I am now getting to know exactly what is in the club and also putting things together. We are serious about improving the club. Have patience with me.”

Dr. Kyei in forming his management team to run the affiars of the club has appointed five persons – Obed Acheampong will head the club’s Communication Team, Thomas Boakye Agyemang (Accra Representative and PLB Member), Ernest Owusu Ansah (Director of Operations), Lawyer Yaw Boafo (Head of Legal Team) and Rose Padmore Yeboah (Administrative Manager).
