Eric Bekoe eyes Asante Kotoko fall on Sunday

Sekondi Hasaacas player Eric Bekoe eyes win for his team against Kotoko.

It will be a cliff-hanger duel as the Sekondi based club aim is to beat the drop zone as they are 14 on the log sheet while the Porcupine Warriors are keen on moving to the top.

And Bekoe who eight seasons ago was Kotoko top striker is eyeing a win for his new side against his former side.

“We will not be out to do Kotoko any favours as we also need the points desperately to get out of the red zone. We need the points more than they need it and that is what we will be out to fight for,” said Bekoe.

“The loss at Berekum last Wednesday has even worsened our plight and we need every point we can garner to lift ourselves from the relegation gloom, particularly from our home matches.”

He continued: “At this moment, it’s not really about me facing Kotoko but Hasaacas coming out to claim the three points. As a professional, I will be out to do my job and it will be a bonus if I score. But most importantly, I want to help my team to win.”

Bekoe in the ongoing campaign have netted eight goals.
