Hearts rake in GH¢ 450,000 from 0-1 defeat to Kotoko

The Phobians realised a gross of GH¢ 450,000 from the gates when they hosted the Porcupine Warriors on Monday.

The hype for the game drew huge following to the stadium and enabled all 38,000 tickets available to be sold out.

Alhaji Akambi, a member of the Hearts of Oak board and Strategic Committee has confirmed the amount realised at the gates.

“In monetary terms the game recorded GH¢  450,000 gross from gate proceeds,” he told Happy FM.

The GH¢  450,000 is subject to deductions by the National Sports Authority, VAT and the 10% of the amount will go to the Ghana Football Association.
