Kotoko officially part ways with David Duncan

David Duncan and Asante Kotoko terminate contract on mutual agreement.

The club asked the former Hearts of Oak coach Duncan to step aside after a poor start to the Ghana Premier League season which took the Kumasi based club to the bottom of the league.

A statement on Kotoko’s official website read:

“The Board of Directors of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club is pleased to announce to its teeming supporters and the general public that, the impasses between Kotoko and Coach Duncan has been amicably resolved and a mutual termination package agreed upon at a meeting held at the Kotoko Secretariat on Wednesday, 22 June, 2016”.

David Duncan was appointed as a coach of Kotoko in March 2015. He played 20 games in the 2014/2015 season before starting the 2016 campaign with the Porcupine Warriors.
