Malik Akowuah eyes CAF Champions League spot

Hearts of Oak new signing, Malik Akowuah has set a target of playing the CAF Champions League with the Phobians.

Akowuah, 26 completed a three-year deal with Hearts of Oak, after he joined them from Medeama in a controversial transfer.

The combative midfielder, who played in the CAF Confederation Cup with both Ashanti Gold and Medeama has now targeted to participate in the CAF Champions League.

“I want to play in the CAF Champions League with Hearts of Oak, that was one of the main reason why I joined the Club,” he told Accra-based Asempa FM.

“I have played in the Confederations Cup with Medeama and I want to play in the Champions League with Hearts, Hearts have been there before and I know they will make it again.”
