Moses Parker advises clubs to stop influencing Tom Strand

The President of the Tarkwa based club is unhappy with behavior of the Swedish coach.

Tom Strand has not been in good terms with his employers this season and it is one of the reasons for the poor start of Medeama to the league.

The hierarchy of the Yellow and Mauve side has accused him of masterminding their elimination from the FA Cup against Liberty Professionals and defeats in other league games due to poor selection and substitutions

The President of Medeama believes some clubs are the ones influencing Tom Strand to put certain attitudes that are undermining the progress of the team.

“Tom Strand fielded fringe players against Liberty, who paraded their regular team and also played most of the players out of position, so he plotted our elimination,” he told Happy FM.

“Right after the game some top clubs in the country had discussions with him. I think they are the ones influencing him and I am advising them to come forward if they want his services, because we still has a year left in his contract.

“The clubs should refrain from such acts because people invest money into the running of football, so if they end up influencing coaches in a negative way to cause confusion in another club, it is the game that suffers.

Tom Strand has been linked to Asante Kotoko and Ashanti Gold
