Nathaniel Asamoah: Fatigue contributed to my failure in Morocco

Nathaniel Asamoah has stated that the tight schedule of the football calendar in Ghana had an adverse effect on him during his short stint in Morocco.

Asamoah, who was the main man in attack for Medeama SC, scoring 18 league goals in the 2014-15 season and would have beaten Kofi Owusu, the league’s top scorer to the award, if not his decision to join Raja Casablanca at the latter part of the season.

However, he failed to replicate his sensational form in the domestic league in the Moroccan league, compelling the three times champions of Africa to part ways with him.

The former Wa All Stars and Asante Kotoko striker has indicated that his inability to make a mark in the Moroccan league could be attributed to fatique and being played out of position.
