With the season set to kick start, Pulse.com.gh spoke with some Ghana Premier League stars regarding their expectations in the upcoming season.

We have waited for long and now the season will start this Saturday, my expectations is to have a fruitful campaign but believe me Asante Kotoko is going to win the league, which we are starting in our game against WAFA.

We had a dreadful campaign last season, this season our fans are desperate to see us winning a major silverware, the league is going to be tough because all the 16 premier league club have recruited goo players but expect Hearts of Oak to do well.

It is going to be a great season, a lot of clubs will be targeting Ashanti Gold because we are defending champions but we have the needed quality to defend our league title but defending the league title won’t come easy.

I joined Aduana Stars from Bechem Utd in order to make history. Aduana have won the league title before and in winning the second league title and I want to be part of it. The coming season is not going to be easy because all the 16 premier league clubs have prepared well for the long awaited premier league.

The other 15 premier league clubs should watch out for Berekum Chelsea, we are going to take every club on.  I expect tough campaign, it is going to be a season full of action and definitely my club will be champions at the end of the season.

As a player last season went on well for me and I will replicate that form this season, for my club the target is to win a major silverware in order to celebrate our 20anniversary. We have a good team, good coaches and good administrators so we are leaving no stone unturned when the season takes off.

I have much to say, but my expect for my team is injury free, it is going to be our third season and we will want to climax it with at least a trophy but the other premier league clubs should be wary of what Inter Allies are bringing.

Last season I wasn’t part of the team but I monitored the team and they did very well in finishing at the 7 position and we will like to do better than what we did last season but regarding our performance the pitch we will decide.

The expectations is to do well in the league, that is maintaining our premiership status but one thing we the players we are poised to do is to win the FA cup, because it has been over decades since Dwarfs won a major silverware and I believe we have the men to do it.

Honestly it is going to be a tough season because last season we managed to escape relegation at the last hour. We have to guide against what happened to us last season, we have to push hard in order to among the top four clubs at the end of the season.

First of all I’m happy that the season is about to start, we hope to do well because winning a silverware at the end of the season will definitely  add more value to the team and we are working on that.

Looking forward for the season, Techiman City are newcomers and our aim is to maintain our premiership status.
