Hearts of Oak fan dies a day after 'Super Clash' defeat against Asante Kotoko

The deceased was a staunch member of one the club’s supporters wing Chapter 3 based in Nima and also a founding member of the Greater Accra Supporters Union of Ghana.

According to information gathered by Pulse.com.gh, the deceased after the game collapsed upon reaching home and he was rushed to the hospital where the Doctors failed to resuscitate him. He was pronounced dead in the early hours of Tuesday.

“It is true we have lost a Phobian brother. We never expected this news but death is inevitable. I pray that Allah will be with him,” Muntari Ali a friend to the deceased told Pulse.com.gh

“After our defeat, he was at Nima chatting with some friends and he was even consoling downhearted Phobians but like i said death is inevitable. With the Muslim tradition he will be buried today,” he added.

Soulama Abdoulaye’s rare error when he miskicked Richard Akrofi’s back pass into his own net cost the Phobians the three points.
