Here aree the five best transfers of the second round of the Ghana Premier League

Nathaniel Asamoah swerved Asante Kotoko to sign for Aduana Stars on the transfer deadline day. The Porcupine Warriors however wasted no time to capture the services of Ashgold striker Emmanuel Osei on on Wednesday.

Hearts of Oak who were already reported to have captured former Ghana U20 star Kassenu Ghandi are yet to confirm the signing of the 25-year-old.

It will be intriguing to see what impact 26-year-old former Asante Kotoko and Medeama - once viewed as one of the most exciting players in Ghana - can make for the Dormaa-based club following his departure from Raja Casablanca to Aduana Stars for the rest of the season.

Kennedy Ashia (Unttached to Liberty Professionals)

Ashia is another man looking to rediscover past form, with it not being too long ago that the attacking midfielder, just last season, was earning rave reviews for his performance for Liberty Professionals.

The 23-year-old left the Dansoman-based club for Al Hilal of Sudan, scoring his debut goal against Hilal Kadougli in January, however, he terminated his contract with Sudanese champions in May after failing to authorities of the club and new coach Ilie Balaci.

Kassenu Ghandi (Unattached to Hearts of Oak)

Kassenu was a member of the Ghana U20 team that won the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt 2009. The defender played in the final of the tounament, coming on as a substitute after 65 minutes on 16 October 2009.

The former Liberty Professionals was rewarded with a three-year deal with after impressing in Hearts of Oak's training.

He has had stints with BK Hacken of Sweden as well as Al Merreikh of Sudan.

Hans Kwoffie (Unattached to Bechem United)

Kwofie parted ways with Omani league champions Al-Oruba SC after only four months at the club. His departure from the club was a shock after scoring four goals in six league matches in November.

The former Medeama midfielder will be looking to make a big impression for his new club, reminding everyone he still has plenty of quality with his exquisite raking passes.

Bismark Idun (Unattached to New Edubiase)

New Edubiase have been struggling for goals this season and will hope that the return of their former top striker will revive their hopes to beat the drop this season. Idan is proven and experienced striker who will help the Bekwai-based side in their relegation battle.

The 26-year-old, who was a joint-top scorer in the 2009/10 Ghana Premier League season,  is expected to join forces with young striker Prince Antwi and other experienced players to transform the club ahead of the second round.
