Liberty Professionals registered their first away victory against Hasaacas in Sekondi in 13 outings

Accra Hearts of Oak returned to winning ways, after four games without a victory in all competitions with a 2-1 win over champions Ashanti Gold at Obuasi. It was Hearts of Oak’s first win against the Miners at the Len Clay Sports Stadium in 9 years: On 28 February, 2007, the Phobians edged AshGold 0-1 at Obuasi.
