Yahaya Mohammed leads Dreams FC drubbing

Yahaya Mohammed scored twice as Aduana Stars handed Dreams FC a heavy defeat in the Ghana Premier League.

Aduana Stars drubbed Dreams FC on match week 11 by 4-0 in the ongoing Ghana Premier league.

The Dormaa-based club  opened the scoring after 5 minutes courtesy of former Kotoko winger, Richard Mpong, before Yahaya Mohammed scored twice, his 8th goal of the season to send Cioba Aristoca boys on the road to victory.

Bright Adjei completed the annihilation after 75 minutes, and neither side could find the back of the net again in the game.

Dreams FC who have had a good away performance away from home this season, began the game on the front foot, but they their early exertion on the game was undone by Richard Mpong who scored from close range after a brilliant interplay with Bright Adjei.

The early strike forced C.k Akunnor to revise his notes, and his boys slowed the pace of the game while looking to catch Aduana on the break.

However, Yahaya Mohammed scored twice in quick succession to dumpen Dreams hope of a recovery in the game before recess.

Dreams came out of their shelves more determined to fight their way back into the game. They created ample of chances, but Lawson Berkui and veteran striker, Eric Gawu were all culpable of Deams failure of a potential recovery when they fluffed all the opportunities that came their way.

The pendulum swung the way of Aduana, and they took advantage of it to roll in the final nail on Dreams' coffin.

Richard Mpong broke on the right flank, and served Bright Adjei the perfect meal to end the day. The former Tema Youth striker made no mistake, beating Mozart Adjetey from the edge of the box.
