Abdul Majeed Waris returned to the FC Lorient starting line-up to score a brace in their 4-3 win over Guingamp in the French Ligue 1.

The Ghanaian forward who was sent off in his last game against the side played in the full duration of the game without a booking.

In the English Championship Albert Adomah and Middlesbrough’s game against Reading was postponed.

In the Spanish La Liga, Mubarak Wakaso missed Las Palmas’ home game against Barcelona on Saturday. The Catalan giants won the game by two goals to one with Luis Suarez and Neymar scoring for Barcelona.

Christian Atsu has started training after his injury but was not fit enough for Malaga’s home game against Real Madrid on Sunday.

Malaga held Cristiano Ronaldo and co to a 1-1 draw at the Estadio La Rosaleda.

Thomas Teye Partey also missed Atletico Madrid’s home game against Villarreal on Sunday.

Kwadwo Asamoah is still out injured and was not part of the travelling Juventus squad that played Bologna on Friday night.

The Italian champions were held to a goalless draw away from home. Ghanaian player Godfred Donsah played in the entire duration of the game.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu and his Udinese team were beaten in the Italian Serie A on Sunday in the game against Genoa. Genoa won the home game by two goals to one with Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu playing in the entire duration of the game.

Alfred Duncan started and played in the entire duration of the Sassualo’s Serie A game against Empoli. The Ghanaian and his team won the home game by three goals to two.

Afriyie Acquah missed Torino’s game against Isaac Cofie’s Carpi on Sunday in the Italian Serie A as the Black Stars midfielder is still out injured.

The game between Torino and Carpi ended in a goalless draw. Ghanaian player Isaac Cofie was introduced as a 67 minute substitute replacing Antonio Di Gaudio in the game.

Frank Acheampong played 75 minutes in Belgium as his Anderlecht side lost their away game at Waasland-Beveren by one goal to nil.

Nana Asare was sent off in the game against Oostende as his Gent team lost their Belgium Pro League game by five goals to two.

In Sweden, Ebenezer Assifuah played 73 minutes for Sion as they lost to Grasshopper by three goals to nil on the road.
