"Black Stars is the best brand in Ghana"
Alex Mould, the CEO of the National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), the headline sponsor of the Black Stars has expressed the joy of GNPC for associating themselves with the football team.

The National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) channels three million dollars annually into the running of the Black Stars as their headline sponsor.
Although there have been criticisms that the Petroleum Corporation is wasting national resources on the Blacks Stars, without getting the necessary returns, its CEO Alex Mould has stated that the four times champions of Africa are the best brand to associate with in Ghana, and it is every institution dream to deal with them.
“We are happy with our association with the Black Stars. It is the best brand in Ghana, and if we don’t sponsor them, a foreign entity like Tullow will do and demand tax rebate from the government for it” he told Citi FM.
