Inter Allies trainer Herbert Addo lauds Kenichi Yatsuhashi

"They criticized the coach, labeling him a carpenter but he is working well and getting the results" - Herbert Addo

The Phobains are enjoying a good run in the Ghana Premier League, winning three games and drawing one to go top of the log sheet with 10 points, two points better than the second placed team Wa Allstars.

The Japanese-American trainer’s credentials was underrated by some football pundits and supporters of the club, but the former Aspire Academy coach is really living up to the billing

Herbert Addo whose side will be facing Hearts of Oak this weekend on match day five of the Ghana Premier League at Tema has lauded Yatsuhashi for the good work he is doing.

“I am not surprised about their start. Hearts of Oak are a very big club,” Addo told Adom FM.

“They criticized the coach, labeling him a carpenter but he is working well and getting the results.”

“The players are also experienced. They have been together since last year when I was with them. They are the same players there with the addition of one or two others.

“They are playing as one of the stable teams in the league alongside Medeama, Wa All Stars and Ashantigold.”

Herbert Addo started last season’s league as Hearts of Oak trainer but was sacked for poor results with 9 games to end the season.
