Samudeen Ibrahim disappointed to miss clash against Kotoko

Hearts of Oak player Samudeen Ibrahim has backed his teammates to deliver against Asante Kotoko on Monday

The silky midfielder for the past six-weeks has been out of action for the Accra giants after sustaining a foot injury in the club’s opening fixture against New Edubiase.

The promising 19 year-old midfielder has since then recovered but the upcoming game between his team and the Kumasi based club has come too early for him.

“I’m very disappointed that I will miss the game but injuries are part of the game and you cannot do anything about it,” he told Kumasi-based Boss FM.

“But I thank God that I have recovered. I hope I will play in our next league game.

“I believe Hearts of Oak have more players who are like me and some who are even better than me; I know they will play to win.”

Samudeen joined the Phobians from second-tier side King Solomon this season.
