Ghana youngtser joins Bristol Rovers

Former Plymouth Argyle loanee Hiram Boateng has once again gone out on loan, this time to League One side Bristol Rovers.

The 20-year-old impressed during his initial loan with the Pilgrims last season, and after a brief stint back at his parent club Crystal Palace, Boateng arrived back for the final couple of months of the campaign.

He also made an appearance in the Premier League in between his two spells at Home Park.

Boateng formed a good relationship with Argyle's two central defenders (Curtis Nelson and Peter Hartley) during the loan deal.

And now he has the chance to develop that relationship with Hartley further, as he also plays for Rovers.

Rovers manager Darrell Clarke said of his latest signing: "I am delighted to be able to welcome Hiram to Bristol Rovers and wish him every success whilst he is with us.
