Former world champion Fana promises to beat Tagoe on Friday

The South African boxer is hopeful of beating Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ to the IBO Lightweight world title.

Emmanuel Tagoe’s new opponent, Fana Nzionke for the IBO Lightweight world title bout on Friday is optimistic of victory on Friday.

Fana was named as the replacement for Fernando David Saucedo who pulled out of the world title fight against Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe.

The experienced Fana, a former International Boxing Federation (IBF) Lightweight world champion who also previously challenged for the WBC super featherweight world title and also lost a bid for the WBO Lightweight world title to Terry Flanagan only in July this year is hopeful to emerge as world champion again.

“I am well prepared and ready to face Tagoe. Remember I am a two times world champion and I am ready to be champion again, I believe victory will mine on that day, Fana told Pulse.com.gh
