Takyiman City to report Jagodina from Serbia to FIFA

FC Jagodina played against Asante Kotoko with a player from Takyiman City on the bench of the Serbian side without the knowledge of their management.

Charles Kwadwo Ntim, popularly known in football cycles as Micky Charles, the President of Takyiman City has disclosed he has instructed his lawyers to report FC Jagodina to the Federation of International Football (FIFA) for inducing Ebenezer Agyapong to have a part to play in their 0-5 loss to Asante Kotoko on Sunday.

Asante Kotoko on Sunday had a field day as they walloped the 14 placed team in the Serbian topflight league to climax their 80 anniversary which was celebrated last year August, but the anniversary game had to wait due difficulty in finding an opponent and an approved date.

Jagodina who were settled on with less than a week to the friendly international after Varia FC from Greece pulled out over tight domestic schedule, unprepared travelled to Ghana with about 11 players and recruited 1 player from Takyiman City and some other local players to face Kotoko.

According to Mickey Charles, the President of the Takyiman based club, FC Jagodina didn’t inform them before using Ebenezer Agyapng against Kotoko, an act which contravenes with FIFA status, so they will take action against them.

“We completed the move of Francis Kyeremeh to Jagodina, so they came to Ghana with him, but Ebenezer Agyapong who is still a player of Takyiman City was induced by the club that is how come he was on their bench.

“We have instructed our lawyers to report Jagodina to FIFA for inducement,” he told Pulse Ghana Sports.
