Ayew brothers, Muntari hit Nigeria for Yobo centenary game

The duo is expected to feature in the testimonial match for the Nigerian legend slated for 4pm at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.

Ghanaian brothers Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew have arrived in Nigeria for the Joseph Yobo Centenary Game scheduled for Friday, May 27, SportsDede has exclusively gathered.

SportsDede is reliably informed that the Swansea star and the Aston Villa top marksman landed in Lagos on Thursday.

The Ayew brothers will depart for Port Harcourt on Friday for the game and are expected to return to Ghana on Saturday evening to prepare for the Black Stars' upcoming 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius.

Andre and Jordan were listed in Avram Grant's 23-man squad which includes newbies Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey, Mohamed Kadri of AshantiGold and FC Astana striker Patrick Twumasi for the penultimate round qualifier next month.

Meanwhile, John Terry, Mikel Obi, Vincent Enyeama and Emmanuel Emenike have arrived in Nigeria for the star-studded testimonial match

Awaited top African stars include Didier Drogba, Samuel Eto’o, Sulley Muntari, Djibril Cisse and Tresor Lualua, amongst others.
