Ashia joined Al Hilal in November, 2015, despite being sought after by several Ghanaian clubs, following a sensational Ghana Premier League season which he registered 11 goals in his name.
However, he has been struggling to make the mark at Hilal and there was earlier decision to let him leave in April by the club, but it was delayed to enable Coach Illie Balaci, who was appointed in May to make his own assessment of the player.
But the Romanian trainer has sanctioned his exit and Ashia finalised his move from the Sudanese powerhouse after signing a termination letter.
The FIFA U-20 World Cup bronze medallist follows the steps of compatriot Abeiku Ainooson, whose contract was also terminated by Al Hilal.
