Ghana international weds Melissa Satta

Kevin-Prince Boateng and Melissa Satta have finally said 'I do'.

The footballer has been with the model for four years and the couple have a son Maddox Prince who is two years old.

Prince Boateng and Satta said ‘I do’ in an intimate ceremony at the church of Stella Maris parish around the sea of Porto Cervo in Italy with their son Maddox Prince being the page boy.

Melissa wore a white dress for her wedding despite rumours suggesting a different colour before the couple promised forever on Saturday evening just before 19:30.

Before the 'I do'

One thing had never been in doubt. The love between Kevin-Prince Boateng and Melissa Satta since the pair started dating four years ago.

The elusive part of their love life has however been their wedding date.

Kevin-Prince Boateng and Melissa Satta were tipped to walk down the aisle this summer but reports early this year suggested the love birds had postposed their wedding due to family troubles.

The footballer and his model fiancée had already postponed once as they were waiting for their son Maddox Prince to grow old enough to be able to take part in the bonding ceremony.

The time however could be now. Kevin-Prince Boateng and Melissa Satta will be husband and wife after Saturday, June 25, 2016.

The wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Stella Maris church where model Melissa was baptized. The couple also baptized their son Maddox at the same venue.

Pastor of Porto Cervo, priest of confidence of the Satta family and Don Raimondo Satta will all be present at the ceremony with son of Prince Boateng and Melissa Satta, Maddox Prince being the pageboy.

Melissa ahead of the wedding ceremony indicated that the rite was not important for her and long term fiancé Prince Boateng but when Maddox was born, the pair felt it was just the right thing to do; a form of protection for the child and a glue to unite the family.

Congratulations to Kevin-Prince Boateng and Melissa Satta.
