Schlupp and Amartey get their groove on in LA sunshine

Jeffrey Schlupp and Daniel Amartey train in Los Angeles ahead of game against Paris Saint Germain.

The Ghanaian players travelled with Claudio Ranieri’s men to California on Sunday night ahead of their 2016 International Champions Cup game against French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain.

The coaching staff lead the Premier League champions in a host of warm up drills as they get back to full sharpness.

The players were then divided into small groups for small-sided games in the sunshine of Los Angeles.

The training session also involved ‘carefully planned gymn session’ and ice baths with Leicester cooling off in the LA heat.

Jeffrey Schlupp’s team have already played two pre-season games against Oxford United and Celtic. The Black Stars defender scored the winner in Leicester’s first game against Oxford United, a game that ended 2-1 in favour of Claudio Ranieri’s team.

International teammate Daniel Amartey also stepped up to score the winning penalty in the shoot-out against Celtic after the International Champions Cup game had ended 1-1.
