The Australia coach was hospitalised after being diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis during their fifth one-day international against India in Sydney on January 23.
Darren Lehmann to re-join Australia in New Zealand
Darren Lehmann has been given the all clear to travel to New Zealand and link up with the Australia squad ahead of their Test series against the Black Caps.
Lehmann will fly into Wellington on Saturday, when Australia will be facing New Zealand at Westpac Stadium in the second game of their three-game ODI series.
However, Michael Di Venuto will remain the acting head coach for the final ODI in Hamilton on Monday.
"Darren has received clearance from specialists in Australia to travel on Saturday and return to work," Cricket Australia chief medical officer John Orchard said.
Australia have failed to win a game since Lehmann was hospitalised, including a 159-run loss in their first ODI against New Zealand on Wednesday.
The two-Test series begins on February 12 in Wellington.
