San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich conceded it was "men and boys" after his side were thrashed 120-90 by the Golden State Warriors.

Stephen Curry finished with 37 points as the Warriors racked up 120 points for the fourth game in a row, continuing their excellent response to the 113-95 defeat at Detroit Pistons 10 days ago.

The Spurs were 62-47 down at the half and were never able to recover as the Warriors improved to 41-4 with another impressive display, which drew plaudits from Popovich - whose team are now 38-7.

"It's a hell of a team, really disciplined," he said. They're [the Warriors] executing really well, but executing with aggressiveness.

"It was like men and boys out there tonight I thought, as far as the toughness and aggressiveness was concerned in every facet of the game.

"It was men and boys. So they deserve a lot of credit."

Popovich's opposite number Steve Kerr was effusive in his praise of Curry, after another prolific showing from the point guard.

"I never have to tell Steph to be aggressive offensively. It's just what he does. He has a ridiculous shooting range so it distorts the whole chess board," Kerr said.

"Defensively you have to commit so far out there it creates angles for other guys and obviously he's so good at putting the ball on the floor and getting into creases.

"Where he's really improved this year is finishing, little floaters and runners and stuff and that makes him that much more difficult to cover.

"It's been a good stretch since the Detroit loss, we just didn't have our edge. I thought that loss was kind of what we needed to wake us up because we really hadn't played that well over the previous few weeks.

"I thought we were tired and a in a little bit of a rut. So that loss seemed to wake us up and we've had a really good run since."
