Andy Murray was told he should be in bed by his brother Jamie after his older sibling won the Australian Open men's doubles title in the early hours of Sunday morning.

World number two Andy was at Rod Laver Arena to watch Jamie and Bruno Soares beat Daniel Nestor and Radek Stepanek 2-6 6-4 7-5.

Andy will aim to claim his first Australian Open singles title when he faces world number one Novak Djokovic on the same court later on Sunday, but the two-time grand-slam winner stayed for his brother's trophy presentation.

His older brother then joked that he ought to have been getting some sleep rather than see him claim his maiden major men's doubles title.

"Andy, you should be in bed. I don't know why you're here taking photos," Jamie quipped.
