Tyrese Rice was the star of the show, netting 20 points as Khimki continued their excellent Top 16 form with a 111-80 battering of Zalgiris in the Euroleague on Friday.

In a match that pitted Group F's top side against the bottom, it was clear from the outset that Russian side Khimki had too much quality at the Krylatskoye Sports Palace.

The home side raced into a 52-38 lead by half-time and, although the third quarter was more evenly matched, they blitzed the final quarter 34-19.

Behind their win was Rice's three-point success - the former Bayern Munich point guard was five from eight with three-point attempts and landed five of six free-throws.

The likes of Tyler Honeycutt (14), Alexey Shved (13) and Petteri Koponen (12) also contributed to the comfortable win, which left Khimki with a 4-1 record.

Also in Group F, Barcelona were edged out 81-78 in overtime by Laboral Kutxa, after it finished 70-70 in regulation play as Barca's stuttering campaign continued.

In Group E, Quincy Miller nailed 24 points as Crvena Zvezda secured an 80-66 victory at home to Lokomotiv Kuban leaving both teams on a 3-2 record.

Anadolu Efes also moved to 3-2 after securing a fine victory on the road in an 85-75 beating of Unicaja.

The scores were level at the end of the third quarter, but Unicaja were outscored 19-9 in the last period to slip to a third loss in five matches.
