World number one Novak Djokovic cruised into the French Open second round with a 6-4 6-1 6-1 victory over Lu Yen-hsun on Tuesday.
Novak Djokovic makes light work of Lu Yen-hsun
Novak Djokovic faced little resistance as he brushed aside Lu Yen-hsun at the French Open.
The Serbian is chasing a career Grand Slam and, after initially struggling to hit his stride, he brushed the underdog aside in 90 minutes.
After sharing the opening six games, Djokovic broke to go 4-3 in front but was immediately broken back as Lu showed creditable resistance.
However, Djokovic swiftly re-established his advantage - fighting back from 40-0 down for his second break - to clinch the opening set and the Serbian accelerated clear from thereon.
Lu would only win two more games in a match that failed to set pulses racing, claiming his opening service game of the second set and his last of the third.
That left Djokovic to claim 12 in a row as he breezed into the second round at a canter, finishing Lu off with a backhand winner.
