Nick Kyrgios insisted he is no bad boy after securing two International Premier Tennis League victories for the Singapore Slammers against the Philippine Mavericks on Friday.

The livewire Australian has emerged as a promising talent, but the 20-year-old's on-court antics have seen him make headlines for the wrong reasons.

Kyrgios gave another reminder of his ability by beating Edouard Roger-Vasselin 6-5 (7-2) in the singles after combining with Marcelo Melo to see off Treat Huey and Roger-Vasselin 6-5 (7-5) in the men's doubles in New Delhi.

The 2015 Australian Open quarter-finalist's triumphs helped the Slammers beat the Mavericks 30-22 at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium to sit third in the standings.

And Kyrgios, ranked 30th, said: "I've had a great year, played some fantastic tennis, made it deep in the grand slam draw - which is great.

"I'm not really a bad boy. I am young and it's fine. But I also feel I've matured a lot in this year. I'm looking forward to the next season, I"m competitive, I play to win so whether it's a game of chess or football, I play to win."

Slammers duo Carlos Moya and Belinda Bencic secured victories over Mark Philippoussis and Ajla Tomljanovic respectively, while Dustin Brown and Karolina Pliskova got the better of Huey and Jarmila Gajdosova in the mixed doubles.

The Indian Aces continue to lead the way after they beat the Japan Warriors 26-21 on home soil.

Agnieszka Radwanska brushed aside Kurumi Nara 6-2 in the women's singles before Fabrice Santoro beat Thomas Enqvist 6-3, with both sides claiming a doubles victory apiece.
