The Oklahoma City Thunder made it eight straight NBA wins with a 119-100 victory over the Toronto Raptors as Russell Westbrook produced another big performance.

Westbrook posted his 16th triple-double of the season, finishing with 26 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds to help extend the Thunder's winning streak on Monday.

The five-time All-Star has seven triple-doubles in March as the Thunder enjoy their best winning run since their 10-game streak in January 2014.

Kevin Durant contributed 34 points for the Thunder, as well as eight assists and as many rebounds.

The Raptors, who were led by DeMar DeRozan's 19 points, suffered just their fourth home defeat of the year.

It was an historic outing but for all the wrong reasons after the Los Angeles Lakers were crushed 123-75 by the Utah Jazz.

Visiting Utah for the last time in his illustrious 20-season career, Kobe Bryant and Co. suffered their worst defeat in franchise history.

The rout equalled the 48-point loss the Lakers were dealt by the Los Angeles Clippers in March 2014.

Bryant was just one-of-11 from the field for five points, while Louis Williams had 16 points.

Rodney Hood top-scored with 30 points for the Jazz, who stayed seventh in the Western Conference.

The Dallas Mavericks moved level alongside the eighth-seeded Houston Rockets after downing the Denver Nuggets 97-88, snapping a three-game skid in the process.

In other results, Jeff Teague made a pair of free throws with just over six seconds remaining to lead the Atlanta Hawks past the Chicago Bulls 102-100, and the New York Knicks lost 99-91 to the New Orleans Pelicans.

The San Antonio Spurs accounted for the Memphis Grizzlies 101-87, the Miami Heat beat the Brooklyn Nets 110-99, the Portland Trail Blazers were 105-93 winners over the Sacramento Kings, the Minnesota Timberwolves outlasted the Phoenix Suns 121-116, while the Los Angeles Clippers made light work of the Boston Celtics 114-90.
