Cardiff Blues back row Warburton suffered a shoulder injury during the Pro12 defeat to Ospreys last month and is still not fully fit.

Wales forwards coach Robin McBryde said: "This weekend will be too early for him. He's taking part in training, and he's done everything bar contact.

"He's feeling better about himself and that's evident in how he's carried himself and contributed to meetings."

Jones has been sidelined since the Six Nations after being troubled by injuries to both feet, but the lock could make his comeback against the Grand Slam winners as Wales prepare for the upcoming tour of New Zealand.

McBryde said of Jones: "He's made great strides and more time is going to benefit anybody but at some stage you have to dip toe in the water and see how you react to games.

"There is no better pro and coupled with medical team we have got, we will make the right decisions.

"They have worked miracles in the past. If you follow protocols anything is possible. He was frustrated because he couldn't reach the standards he demands.

"From a coaching point of view don’t have to say a lot to him."
