Former Hearts of Oak player discharged by court over GHS 50,000 fraud

Ben Moses Andoh has been set free by an Accra Circuit Court over GHS 50,000 fraud.

Last year, the former goal poacher for the Accra giants was arrested by the Odorkor Police together with Alhassan Sulieman aka Prince Amankwah.

However, the duo were put before court and after a judiciary hearing, Andoh was cleared for any wrong doing.

“Like you rightly put it, I was arrested last year with one guy for defrauding someone, something that I know nothing about it,” Andoh exclusively told Pulse.com.gh.

“We were arranged before court, I was granted bail same as the other guy. After he was granted bail, he absconded but I pursued the case in order to clear my name.

“So after the court heard my side of the story, it clearly showed I had nothing to do with it. The guy used my name to defraud the lady. So the court acquitted and discharged me.”

Andoh apart from playing for Hearts of Oak has played for Sekondi Hasaacas, Ukrainian side Prikarpatye and Tarsana FC from Egypt. In 2007 he was invited into the first local Black Stars team.
