Black Stars forward Richmond Boakye Yiadom has disclosed how he wants to be like former Barcelona player Samuel Eto'o

Ghanaian player Richmond Boakye Yiadom has revealed how he aims express himself in football like Cameroon international Samuel Eto’o.

Boakye Yiadom has completed a transfer move to Italian Serie B side Latina from Atalanta after a loan spell at Roda JC Kerkrade.

Speaking to reporters after his transfer, the Black Stars forward said:

"Since childhood I have always wanted to express myself to the level of Eto'o. I'm here to work 100 percent of my potential to reach that level.

"I look in the mirror and wonder what did Eto'o to become the player that was not easy but I'm here to do something that I have not done. I always want to win, my goal is this."

BoakyeYiadom also expressed his delight in joining his new club. The Ghana international said:

"I'm happy to be in Latin, it is a great satisfaction to be in this team and in this society. I'm young and I have to learn many things, are here in order to work and to listen to the directives of the coach.

"I want to thank God for what He has given me so far. In life, if you want to become a winner, you always have to think positive. My mindset always has been, I wanted to come here to give my best and lead the team as high as possible."
