The Ghana international, whose scuffed finished rolled into the far bottom corner, grabbed his first Serie A goal since October 2014.

Sulley Ali Muntari registered his first Serie A goal for Pescara in their 3-1 defeat to Agyemang Badu's Udinese.

Udinese took the lead when a corner was taken short and the Jakub Jankto cross found Duvan Zapata for a totally free glancing header from 10 yards.

Orestis Karnezis stuck out a foot to deny Mitrita from close range at the base of the near post. The move continued and Alberto Cerri nodded in a Ledjan Memushaj cross, but only after he’d been flagged offside.

Pescara’s defending has been a huge problem all season and that was clear again on the second goal, as a free kick was taken short for Jankto to score from a tight angle relatively undisturbed.

Jankto was involved in the third goal too, bursting down the left and pulling back for Cyril Thereau, whose finish took a deflection but was going in anyway.

Alberto Cerri wasted the chance to at least get a consolation goal, his first effort straight at the goalkeeper, the follow-up over the bar.
