Hearts of Oak agree terms with Augustine Sefa

The out of favour AshGold defender has joined the Phobians

Hearts of Oak have agreed terms with former Ashanti Gold and Medeama SC defender Augustine Sefa, Pulse.com.gh can confirm.

Sefa who is a free agent following his contract expiration with Ashanti Gold started training with the Phobians two weeks ago, and his performance at training has convinced the acting head coach of the club Henry Wellington to sanction for his acquisition.

The versatile defender last week in one of the club’s warm-up friendly against the University of Ghana football team which ended 5-2 for the Accra giants – he scored brace.

”Augustine Sefa has agreed terms with Hearts of Oak, the only thing for him to do is to the sign the contract,” a source close to the club confirmed to Pulse.com.gh.

“He was supposed to sign the contract last week but because of a scheduled friendly game organised by the club, he couldn’t get the time to sign but hopefully he will sign this week.”

On Richard Arhin''s (former Aduana Stars forward) transfer, the source revealed that, the technical team are still monitoring his performance at training before he will be given a contract.

In other related news, the Phobians have broken camp for Christmas and they expected to resume on December 28th to continue with their preparations for the 2017 Ghana Premier League.
