Dong Bortey:“I will score Kotoko because they are my girlfriends”

The experienced midfielder has fired warning at Asante Kotoko ahead of the clash against his side Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

Asante Kotoko will come face to face against the Phobians on Sunday in the semi-finals of the G6 tournament at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi.

Ahead of the clash Dong Bortey who scored on Thursday for Hearts of Oak when they defeated Vision Academy in a pre-season game has assured the Hearts of Oak faithful that he will break the hearts of Asante Kotoko if selected for their titanic tie.

“Unless the coach doesn’t take me to Kumasi. If the coach takes me to coach I will score them. They are my girlfriend,” he said after the game.

Dong Bortey first joined Hearts of Oak in 2001 from Tema Ghapoha and later left to Aduana Stars.

But after having stints with several clubs, he has returned to the Phobians to relaunch his career, while on trials in his bid to secure a permanent deal.
