Ghanaian referees act as pall bearers at Ref. Agbovi's funeral

Former Chairman of the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) Referees’ Committee, Mr A. P. Agbovi, was buried in style by his own colleague referees on Saturday afternoon.

Agbovi, 75, died on July 13, 2016 after he reportedly battled with a short illness.

The retired referee was honoured and remembered when Ghanaian referees paid their respects at his funeral in his home town, Agotime Kpetoe in the Volta Region.

Amazingly, six of the referees acted as pall bearers as the former CAF Referees Instructor was laid to rest.
