John Mensah, Muntari and Gyan all scored for Sunderland

The Ghanaian trio all found the back of the net during their career with the English Premier League outfit

It is rare to have three Ghanaian players score for one Premier league team, but John Mensah, Sulley Muntari and Asamoah Gyan did it for Sunderland.

Mensah, a former Black Stars skipper was the first of the three to join Sunderland. He made 34 appearances in two seasons, soring a goal, which was against Manchester City in December, 2009.

Muntari played for Sunderland in the 2010-11 season and scored a goal in nine games His only goal came against Bolton Wanderers.

Asamoah Gyan, the last of the three Ghanaians to feature for Sunderland scored 11 goals in 33 appearances for the Black Cats.
