Black Stars skipper Asamoah Gyan was on target for Al Ahli in their 2-2 stalemate with Al Sharja in the UAE Arabian Gulf League on Saturday.

The 31-year old started the game for his side after missing out a couple of matches for the side due to fitness concerns.

Rivas struck the away side into the lead on the 80th minute mark but Senegalese Makhete Diop found the equalizer for the Al Ahli three minutes later as they secured a point.

Al Ahli are 10 points adrift of league leaders Al Jazira.
