Prez. Akufo-Addo rewards Black Stars 'B' with huge sum of money after WAFU triumph

Nana Addo just appreciated the Black Stars B triumph is a nice way.

The home-based players have become the first team to win the WAFU Cup of Nations twice, having triumphed on home soil in the last edition in 2013.

Coach Maxwell Konadu’s side saved their best performance for the final, whipping the Super Eagles 4-1 at the Cape Coast Stadium thanks to goals from Stephen Sarfo (two), Vincent Atingah and Winnful Cobbinah.

Their effort was rewarded by the president who was not in the country to host the final game in Cape Coast but was represented by his vice.

H.E Akufo-Addo who arrived in Ghana on Monday, hosted the Black Stars B team and gifted the entire team $100,000 as well as congratulating them for their feat.
