Andre Ayew became a subject of transfer interest last summer when his contract with French Ligue 1 club Olympique Marseille run out.

The player was chased by a host of clubs across Europe but ended up joining Welsh club Swansea City.

The Ghanaian’s performance in the English Premier League continued to make the headlines as clubs wanted to lure him away from the Liberty Stadium.

West Ham United submitted a transfer bid in the January transfer window which was rejected by Swansea City. At the end of the season, the former Olympique Marseille player turned out to be Swansea’s top scorer.

West Ham United have renewed their interest to sign Andre Ayew and have raised their bid for the Ghanaian star.

Ayew has resumed his superb form in pre-season for Swansea City and the club is contemplating whether to let the Ghanaian go considering he is one of the only two senior forwards at the Liberty Stadium after Bafetimbi Gomis departed to Marseille on a season-long loan.

The money the Hammers are willing to pay for Andre Ayew could also be too good an offer to ignore considering the player joined Swansea on a free transfer.

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is looking to strengthen his forward lines and fancy Ayew in his squad for the upcoming season. West Ham could raise the offer if the current £20 million bid is rejected by Swansea City.
