Aduana Stars forward Yaya Mohammed has ruled out
The Dormaa based side goal poacher made the pronouncement due to the Kumasi giants’ poor outing in second half of the season as they are currently 5th on the log sheet with 33 points with eight games left to be played. Arch-rivals Hearts of Oak are first with 39 points.
“It will be very difficult for Kotoko to win the league, it will be 40/60 or 30/70 for Kotoko to win the league,” Yaya told Nhyira FM.
“Looking at the position of Hearts of Oak and Aduana Stars on the log sheet and even Kotoko has a game with Aduana Stars so it will be very difficult for them. Hearts of Oak for me has the better chance to win the league.
He added:
“A club like Wa All Stars I don’t think they are ready to win the league. If they are ready for the league title they wouldn’t be losing certain points at home.”
Yaya has scored 12 goals in the Premier League season and featured for Kotoko three years ago before moving to Ettihad Tripoli in Libya.
