Painter opens art exhibition to mark 20 years of paralysis
Keith Jansz went into painting after an injury that left him paralysed from the shoulders down.
To mark 20 years since his injury, the painter has opened an art exhibition.
According to Jansz who paints with a brush in his mouth, his paintings are aimed at expressing his joy in what he sees around him.
He also went on to state that he never appreciated the things around him, until his accident.
"People are often surprised that I don't paint the frustration perhaps of being in my situation. Why would I want to? I want to uplift myself and others.
"It will be 20 years since my accident so I hope that this exhibition is a positive statement as to what can be achieved in the face of adversity." - he said.
Jansz exhibition of his paintings will hold at Oxford Town Hall until June 13.
