The incident happened on Tuesday evening on Oxford Avenue of Sheridan amidst heavy rain.
"I didn't think I would go to work one day and see a car fall into the ground like that. It's pretty absurd. $40,000 down the drain literally, you know what I mean?", he added.

According to UPI.com, a 15-20 feet sinkhole previously opened up at the same intersection in 2015 and swallowed a police SUV.
Interestingly, Sgt. Greg Miller who was the driver of the police SUV which submerged in 2015 is said to be among the officers who responded to Tuesday's incident.
Police later posted photos of the scene on twitter, claiming to have rescued the damaged vehicle.
