Blue whales have the biggest babies in the world. Here's how other animal babies compare in size.
Blue whale calves are the largest animal babies in the world, clocking in at a whopping 1360kg — almost the same size as a small car. They put on 90 kg a day by guzzling their mother's fatty milk. Meanwhile, bat pups are nowhere near as large, but make up a fourth of their mother's bodyweight.
