Almost two inches of rain fell on the city between 6 am and 10 am on Friday, leading to transport stations being shuttered.

Reports coming in from several parts of the country indicate many intersections in the major cities have been flooded and motorists are finding it difficult to use them.

Dramatic videos and photos posted on social media showed water pouring onto the roads making them unmotorable.
