According to the Director of Marketing and Promotion at the Ghana Export Promotion Authority, Agnes Adjei-Sam said to make the exportation to the mexican market a success.

“For us at GEPA, we see this collaboration as an outlet for Ghana and Mexico. I am saying that because when you look at their strongest stay which is agriculture, they produce about the same things we produce. As such, what we need from them is collaboration to be able to produce our products better to meet export market standards.” she emphasized

.

Madam Agnes Adjei-Sam spoke on the sidelines of a discussion by GEPA, Mexican Embassy and the Ghana Free Zones Board towards the 15th Edition of the Mexico Business Summit scheduled to take place in San Luis Potosi in October.

On her part, the Mexican Ambassador to Ghana, Maria de Los Angeles, Arriola Aguirre urged Ghana to participate in the Mexico Business Summit to attract more investments.

“We have seen that Ghana has a lot of potential. For Ghana, it is a great opportunity to be closer to Mexico which is one of the globalized economies in the world.

Also, it will allow them to have more presence as well with their own products and exports to Mexico with the net of free trade agreement areas where we have ready markets very open. So Ghana stands a huge chance to expand their export markets should they do business with us.”
