TOR staff take 20% pay cut to get refinery back

The Refinery that has been unoperational for years, comes onboard to improve the supply of refined crude on the domestic market.

 

President John Mahama has expressed gratitude to the staff of the Tema Oil Refinery for volunteering to take a 20% pay cut in order to facilitate the come back of TOR.

The president expoused the immense potential the re-emmergence of TOR will have on  the petroleum downstream sector, something that could not have been achieved without the hellp of the staff.

" I will like to reserve the Staff of the the Tema Oil Refinery  for special mention. They have agreed to a 20% pay cut  to ensure that the refinery gets operational again."
