Ketasco obliterates Opoku Ware to set up quarterfinal date with PRESEC Legon

The boys from the Volta Region beat their Ashanti Regional competitors to come out tops in the contest. At the end of the contest, Keta won with 52 points against Opoku Ware’s 37 points.

In yet another shocking encounter, Keta Senior High Technical School has beaten Opoku Ware Senior High School at this year’s edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz.

The boys from the Volta Region pip their Ashanti Regional competitors to come out tops in the contest. At the end of the contest, Keta won with 52 points against Opoku Ware’s 37 points.

However, the two schools were not the only ones in the contest as Drobo Senior High School were also in the contest but failed to rise to the occasion by managing to score only 15 points.

This means that Keta has completed the list of schools for the quarter final stage of the competition to set up a date with five-time winners Presbyterian Boys and Jachie Pramson Senior High School.

Earlier on Wednesday June 21, Presby Boys dumped city rivals Accra Academy and St. John’s Grammar while Jachie Pramso produce the competition’s most shocking result so far by beating 2001 winners Pope John Senior High and Minor Seminary.
