Champions of the 2017 National Science and Maths Quiz,
A 15-member team of Prempeh College including teachers and contestants flew to Kumasi by Starbow after winning the competition on Thursday, June 29, 2017 for free.

The delegation was led by the Headmaster of the school, Mr Samuel K. Fordjour and accompanied by other teachers, namely, Mr George Abankwa, Mr PM Cudjoe, Mr Peter Agyeman, Mr Moses Gyimah and Mr P.K Damoah and Mr Emmanuel Adu Abankoro.
The student delegation included winners of the competition, Daniel Osei Badu and Wonder Sarfo-Ansah with Kofi Konadu Boakye who contested during the preliminary stages.

The remaining students on board were Masters Lord Opoku Gyamfi, Adu-Djan Daniel, Awuku Bekoe Benjamin, Eduful Famieyeh Joseph and Ransford Bio who were all part of the Prempeh College Quiz team.
The Head of Sales of Starbow, Mr Sam Adjei-Sah who spoke to the media said "we felt compelled to be associated with the wining spirit of Prempeh College and decided to let the students have a feel of air travel as part of our corporate social responsibility."
Mr Sam Adjei-Sah added that "Starbow is delighted to be associated with the Champions and also to give real meaning to its customer service, which is to provide a quick and safer travelling experience to all domestic travellers in Ghana."
Prempeh held their grounds in a nervy final to beat St. Thomas Aquinas and Adisadel College. The winners claimed 53 points as to St. Thomas Aquinas and Adisadel College’s 51 and 31 points respectively.

Following their victory in the contest, they presented the trophy to the former President who also happens to be an old student of the distinguished college.
This trophy is the fourth for the school after they won it first in 1994, then 1996 followed by 2015.
